    How will hopkins be remembered?

To the die hard fan he will be remembered as a great and is a cert for the boxing hall of fame but i still dont think he will be thought of as the likes of roy jones or other similar fighters of his era e.g de la hoya, mosley. Just wondered how u guys think he will be thought of in years to come?

As a true master of the sport, the sweet science. He never had the popularity of a Roy Jones...but that's not what the man was about. He's got the resume to back up his ATG status, and if you check some highlights of his out-of-the ring action, it's already legendary by itself.

You don't think he's up there with De La Hoya & Mosley? Honestly I think he's way up front on Mosley. As far as De la Hoya goes the drawing numbers are not even close in favor of Oscar but as far as accomplishments, I think Hopkins definitely ahead of him for reigning the MW division for so long, making Tarver & Pavlik look like fools, and taking it to Pascal, not to mention almost beating Joe which I think he did.

That's how I think Hopkins will be remembered. Gutta kid that went straight from the county jail, to Champion of the world. His 20 defense middleweight ti8title reign, undisputed champ, and still defied the odd's in his 40's still fighting as one of the best in the world. He's a top 40 ATG in my book.
