The networks don't care where the fight takes place as long as they get to show it. The promoters run the show. They'll take the best money they can get. The ONLY way this fight gets to the US is if a Vegas casino coughs up the money...which they won't. The had to paper the house at the Hopkins-Jones fight in April and STILL couldn't get 5,000...and most got in free!

Hopkins is done in the US and don't even mention Dawson, he's a never was. He couldn't even draw 10,000 in his own hometown of Hartford. Give me a break you know NOTHING of how this business works at all.

since hbo saw that the hopkins & pascal fight was quite good they would be glad to put up real money for that rematch. meaning hopkins wouldn't have to go to canada to make the kind of money that he wants in that rematch. hopkins already said that he's NOT going back to canada regardless of the situation. dawson on twitter said that the pascal rematch will take place in AMERICA without any doubts.

Again..the networks don't care where the fight happens. The network doesn't make money off the venue or live gate THEY DON'T CARE. They just want the fight on their network.

The promoters will put these fights in the city that will make them the most money. The casino coughs up a site fee to the promoter to stage a fight there. If the promoters don't get the coin from a site fee, attendance and live gate means A LOT to their bottom line. All that money from the live gate goes into the pockets of the promoter, plain and simple.

HBO won't tell them where to put the fight, they don't care because they don't make any money off a venue or live gate! What part of that don't you understand?

It would probably go much the same, if Hopkins stayed on his feet he would win the decision this time. Hopkins is going to start slow at his age, it's nothing new for him, but he clearly proved he is still a better fighter than Pascal and would take control.

I won't resort to saying Hopkins was robbed,because he wasn't!!I will say this though,he did not lose!!The fight was close,he won more rounds but the 2 knockdowns were counted & that's why the fight was a draw!!I have no problem with that,none,I would love to see a rematch,in Canada even!!I know B-hop schools him for at least 10 rounds this time!!I don't think people have the right to criticize Pascal,he's tough as nails & came to fight when he beat Chad & drew with B-Hop!!In a close fight,a draw should become default,I think,it's hard for a fighter to give 100% in a close fight & come away with a loss,a draw should be easier to accept!!

You guys are DREAMING. The rematch...if it does happen, happens in Canada. Montreal or Quebec City.

Bernard Hopkins can't draw flies anymore in the US. Pascal can't draw them there either but the one place he can is Quebec. It'll go wherever it makes the most money...and that isn't in the US.

Pascal won't be drawing people anywhere soon.
I don't think Bhop would fight again in canada, if they don't see money in the U.S. it could go to Europe.
