Apparently some boxing fans dont know the difference between a regular fighter who fights and a fighter who fights with technical skills. For example, you take a fighter like kelly pavlik who has the skills to win a fight other wise he wouldnt be where he is. But put him in the ring with a technical fighter, someone with a style, who is smart, has control, defense, movement, slick, and can some what adapt in the ring he'll lose every time. He's still young, give him time to polish his skills. Same goes with khan...he had speed, height, reach over marcos...what happened?? YOu taking what im saying as holy word. If you disagree with my list, feel free....i really dont care..

Depends how you define "skill". Years ago I remember having an argument with someone about who was more skilled - Tsyzu or Judah. I was pretty convinced Tsyzu had better all-round skills and that Judah relied on his speed (wow was he fast though!).

On your list I'm not convinced with the skills of Ward (dirty) Dirrell (just speed really) Johnson (he's a straight up swarmer). INteresting topic though. Would stick Donaire in there from the lower weight classes, which I don't see enough of but have seen plenty of him.

Actually Mosley was coming off two ko victories over mayorga and margarito. Marquez was coming off a ko win over baby bull, hatton was coming off a ko win over castillo, oscar was coming off a ko win over mayorga and vargus.

When Pac fought...

Hatton he was coming off a ko lost to floyd.

Oscar was coming off a lost to floyd.

Margartio was coming of a ko lost to Mosley.

Cotto was coming off a ko lost to Margarito and he really lost to clottey.

Clottey was coming off a PAPER LOST to Cotto.
