HBO wants to see if any BIGGER type fights of quality are out there before risking martinez against pirog since martinez is sorta money cow'ish in the making

i dont think manny floyd or miguel want any of sergio right now. your right they should press for the pirog fight. i still think sergio beats him but it makes his legacy better.

I think what Martinez is trying to say is that he only has a couple of fights left and he really doesn't wanna waste his time with pirog
He is a good fighter but nonone knows who he is
He wants to fight the big names so he can retire...

I dnt think fighting pirog would get him anywhere with the casual boxing fan they wanna see the name fights..
