Has anyone else noticed that Roach likes to explicitly endorse his "part" in all of the processes within the Pacquiao legacy.

If 700,000 people paid to watch him fight Clottey w/o any real promotions, don't see why he couldn't get AT LEAST 850-900K for Berto and 1 mil for Marquez with 24/7, tv ads, late night show appearances, etc.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the Mosley fight was a relative flop. Margarito at least was much younger and seen as a live threat, plus the new division belt was there to be won. The only perceived negative was the hand-wrap scandal, once people got over that there was a great buzz for the fight. Mosley on the other hand is washed up and hasn't won a fight in 2 years. He's not seen as a threat and he's almost 40. There's no historical belt to be won, no real incentive. What is the draw here for fans, both hardcore and casual, that would make us clamor for this fight? I honestly don't see how they are going to sell this thing.

Marquez is the most lucrative, Berto is the most challenging (at 147, plus it would be for the RING belt), and Mosley is a farce w/ nothing on the line except $ (less than Marquez)

Me being a MANNY fan, this has pissed me off. The best challenge for him aside of MAY, is BERTO. PERIOD! It's not just about money here. ROACH/ARUM knows that BERTO is a problem and they are trying to shadow their real feelings, with PROPAGANDA. As a real fan of the sport, I know MANNY wants to fight BERTO but his CRACKER promoter won't let him! I don't like arrogant rich people who don't care about anything but themselves. It's clear to me that ARUM is not a good guy in general. He's not so confident in MANNY to me. MANNY is a true warrior and will fight anyone they put in front of him. They know that MOSLEY is old and was exposed as so against MAY, so how is he deserving of this fight??? BERTO is the ****ing W.B.C. champion. MANNY is the W.B.O. champion. This unification bout is HUGE! And more THAN ENOUGH TRUE BOXING FANS KNOW WHO BERTO IS! So it's not about that. What if the fans reject this fight by not ordering it? Not paying attention to the promotion of it all? Then what will old BOB say then? BERTO can win and that's why we won't see it. Like I said earlier, MANNY is my favorite fighter to watch but his promoter is FULL OF IT! BERTO will have a GREAT 2011 and eventually land a BIG fight. WATCH.

I totally agree with you man. I basically said the same thing a minute ago. BERTO is my choice and the most challenging fight for MANNY. Deep down inside, MANNY wants BERTO as well as MAY. Problem is, ARUM is the typical RICH arrogant prict who is only concerned with how much money he can make, not his fighters. ROACH/ARUM knows that BERTO is a SERIOUS problem. I mean, he has a legit chance to win this fight. But let's point the finger at Uncle Bob and not MANNY because MANNY is a true warrior that will fight ANYONE. He is my favorite fighter to watch and that won't change. MOSLEY was exposed as being over the hill in his last two showings. This is about money for him. The divorce took a huge chunk out of him and he is trying to recoup. He doesn't even have a puncher's chance in my book. So, let's hope the decision to who he'll pick, REALLY IS HIS DECISION and not his team's.
