Why does Martinez not get any of the criticism pac/floyd face

Before i say all this, i don't dislike Martinez. Hes great to watch, and i think he's top 3 P4P and the best middleweight in the world without a doubt. I'm just wondering why he gets close to zero criticism

If his name was mayweather/pacquiao - this is how his last 3 fights would be broken down:

Paul Williams (KO2) - Paul Williams was coming off a very bad showing against Kermit Cintron where he got rocked and didn't do anywhere near enough to win those 4 rounds. PWill was also never really a middleweight - didn't have the chin, was just very tall.

Kelly Pavlik (UD) - 1 dimensional, slow, flat footed. ALREADY been exposed by B-Hop and had alcohol problems and had a hand infection. And despite this Pavlik won a few rounds and was coming back into the fight before Martinez came on in the late rounds

Paul Williams (L) - Lost to PWill. Got outworked

... and now he's rumoured to be fighting Lee/Zbik next year

Because Candians/Europeans assume he's from Europe and go into Calzaghe-like blind-support mode.

Because he is not yet as high profile as the other 2, but he is getting there.

because he came up the hard way...

no amateur pedigree, no olympic medal, no handpicked opponents

martinez was handpicked by williams and pavlik and beat both...instead of the other way around...he deserves credit

he deserves an easy fight...he's in his mid thirties and has fought and beat two fighters high on the p4p list

Because he`s still not #1 p4p. If he was, he would be criticized for facing much smaller opponents.

Pac is a 140 fighter fighting at 147.
                Mayweather is still a welterweight.
