instant rematch outside of canada and lets see if the result changes. fair play to hopkins, havent been a big fan since he talked BS about calzaghe's colour and the lazy, dirty way he fought him but i respect fact that at his age he took a man almost half his age to school and got robbed by a canadian and a european judge.
u should watch the fight before passing judgement

effective agression is something thats also scored and neither fighter displayed in this fight...pascal landed the flashier punches though bhop landed more short and straight punches. bhop won 7 rounds and pascal scored two knockdowns...this was a very weird fight

a draw seems fair to me...

**** them judges, Pascal knew himself that he didn't win that fight or even deserved to retain his title. Here's evidence that BHop was robbed.

It should not have even been scored a split decision because Joe whopped his a$$.

Hopkins was the effective aggressor for the entire fight - Pascal was running away from Hopkins for most of the fight.

Ring Generalship is also supposed to be counted in the scoring - and if anyone thinks that Bernard Hopkins didn't dictate the action and how the fight went - then you don't know boxing at all.

The fact that Hopkins also landed basically TWICE as many total punches just drives home the point of just how CLEARLY Hopkins deserved to be the Champ last night.

Pascal not only knew he lost - so did his corner - and it was written all over their faces after the fight. Pascal should be ashamed of his performance, or rather, lack there of - If Pascal had any honor, he would send Hopkins those belts because he knows Hopkins earned them...

These compubox stats are almost as one sided as when Joe Calzaghe beat Bernard.

Mind you, when Joe beat Bernard, he had even bigger advantages in CompuBox.

Saw the fight last night and no way it was a draw. That was some hometown decision. Pascal should really be ashamed. B-Hop is the uncrowned Light Heavyweight King.

dont agree with u on all points

for the first 5 rounds pascal was pressing the action and landing shots while bhop was mostly playing defense trying to figure pascal out. bhop dictated the action from the second half of round 5 up till the 12th round. from round 5 on panda will agree bhop was the effective agressor

pascal didnt run away from hopkins he was trying to offset hopkins timing him because he was so effective doing it...he went side to side instead of ciricling the ring like for example de la hoya did against trinidad

both didnt land much to my eye and punchstats displayed that...a lot of shots bhop landed werent flush while the little shots pascal landed were flush...a big emphasis on "little shots" here

panda does agree with the clear distress in pascal's corner after the fight, rightfully so because bhop almost won 8 rounds in a row (to my scoring 7 but there were a lot of close rounds)

Also, whats up with Pascal calling B-Hop a dirty fighter? He was the one landing punches behind the head. B-Hop took him to school, plain and simple.

Pascal is boxing's best runner right now.
