    Amir Khan overtrained for Maidana

Despite his stunning performance, Khan said: “I really think I over-trained for *Maidana. I didn’t have any snap and wasn’t as *explosive as normal and the reason was a long training camp.

“A 12-week training camp is a long time *especially when I only had 10lb to lose.”

Did he have a break when he joined team Manny?

12 weeks when you're young only makes you stronger in the end though.

That 12 weeks I'm thinking includes the time he was sparring more for Pacman.

Which if right, was earlylish for such sparring.

Maybe he thought he really did overtrain, who knows, it didn;t seem like he liked Ariza's training.

But that's not the point, it's your own fault for all the mistakes you do anwyay.

No I don't think it is, I just want to get some feedback on what people think about it. Is 12 weeks really a long for a training camp, if so whats the usual time boxers train?

                  well, maybe he did.

But it's still the best win of his career.
