His performance early on was ok and the knockdowns certainly helped (first shouldn't of been counted but oh well) but after the third round, Hopkins picked him apart with crisp shots to the head and especially to the body.

Hopkins outworked him, outjabbed him, outpunched him and simply outsmarted him after the third round.

Pascal did not win, a draw is abit more acceptable obviously but to be honest, it was a pretty clear Hopkins win. I don't know how anyone can see otherwise.

He seemed ok early, but his conditioning is terrible, and by the sixth he was pretty much done from those body shots. He's not a high skilled fighter, he just tries to use his athleticism to win rounds. Unfortunately, you can't do that against Hopkins, so he struggled when he got tired. He's fortunate he scored two knockdowns early. I thought he had a pretty good 12th round, so at least he hadn't given up and fought when he was dead tired. The guy obviously has passion for winning, and isn't a coward in the ring, but he needs to work on his conditioning if he's going to win fights just by overpowering his opponent.

Hopkins won 11 out of the 12 rounds.

Pascal landed on average less than 9 punches around. Hopkins was the agressor and was robbed plain and simply. Pascal was running for most of the fight and he didnt clearly win a single round. There were no rounds that could go either way.

Round 1 was Hopkins round. The KD was a shot behind the head so not legit.
Round 3 was a 10-9 round because despite the KD Hopkins was winning the round.

Scores should have been 118-109. If you count the bogus KD in the 1st round then its still 117-110 for Hopkins.

Pascal is no bum, that's ridiculous.

Hopkins is the best (along with Floyd) at not allowing an opponent to get off. It's almost impossible to look good against Hopkins and the only on reason Rou did was due to B-Hop not being the fighter he is today/in his prime.

BTW...By that comment you sound like a Dawson fan and to keep it real, Chad wouldnt have look better than Jean last night.

Same as I said after Dawson. He's too stacked, his muscles need oxygen. His stamina will always suffer. He takes too much time off rounds. Fights in bursts of only two or three punches. Left himself way too off-balance too much.
Also, I don't rate his chin as "granite" as was claimed last night. Dawson had him shaky before he threw his head at him. Hopkins made him hurt. As did Froch who's power I rate but no one else seems to.

Despite this, he's a solid fighter. Just not as great as he and loads of people on here before last night seemed to think. I look forward to seeing him again.

                  Pascal's Performance

I have two words for his performance. He lost
He also received an early Christmas gift as far as the decision is concerned.
BHop not only exposed him but also educated him in the art of boxing. I can certainly understand why fighters dislike going to another's home town or country to fight. If it goes to the score cards, the visiting fighter will most likely get the bad end of the stick. Hopkin's got robbed of a decision that rightfully belonged to him.

Something that has caught my attention is the ability of Pascal to see out the second half of the fight whilist he often does well in the first half. It was easy to see how Pascal faded against Dawson in their fight too, he was a little fortunate Dawson started to turn the heat up in the last two rounds.

Pascal has stamina issues in my opinion despite B-Hop making him look a second rater.

His stamina is a big issue imo, bhop adjusted his gameplan after them knockdowns, dont think jean landed a clean left hook after the 4th round
