I never did understand why he paid them if he still gets into these type of altercations. Must be a "ganster" thing to do!

At least Puffy did it right and had "people" deal with HIS issues! Dude even went to jail for him. Why aren't these 7 foot something body guards doing all Floyd's "dirty" work?

Floyd is just being Floyd. Thats no excuse though. He needs to get his act together. I know he loves the attention but its getting old now.

Anyway He wont be going to jail. Too many people being paid for him to just sit in a cell. It just won happen. He'll get a slap on the wrist. Hopfully they will be careful as his hands are getting brittle these days!

But hey, I understand why O.J. did it... I own a gun but that doesn't mean I'm going to kill anybody. I did however give my gun to my lawyer just in case - Hulk Hogan speaking about his wife and his wife's new "lover"

Black American bodyguards and security personnel mostly are there to harassed or intimidate other people, I've experienced it in Vegas. They're uneducated doesn't care of other human beings.

Greedy, old Arum as you so respectfully refer to him, is the most educated man in Professional Boxing.
If prize fighters as well as wannabe promo kings such as De La Hoya would get the required education required to fully understand the business side of this racket, the sport would not continue to lurk in the shadows of Pro sports.
Men like Oscar use celebrity in an attempt to get ahead. Men like Arum use their schooling, wits and guile.
It is why Don King fell so hard. At the end of the day, he learned more from Al Capone then taking the tougher route of getting the wisdom an educationalal system can offer to learn how to beat the system. Some business people actually take these skills and improve conditions within their business.
If anything will kill boxing it will be a lack of education within it's ranks. Ignorance is a disease.

Floyd's problem is that he has a real lack of humility, and zero ability for healthy self-deprication. I have a couple of family members like this...they think everything is aimed at them and take even the most affectionate ribbing personally. In Floyd's case, it's because he's grown up with a tremendous talent, and was never told "no" because of that talent. He truely is a male athlete version of Lindsay Lohan. This isn't to say that he's not a caring person. I believe he possesses the capacity for love and compassion, but just doesn't really know [I]who he is.[I] It doesn't seem like he understands the real value of money, so I hope he clears up his immediate legal troubles and whoops Manny sometime soon. Without that fight of personal and professional redemption, I could see Floyd dead broke 5 years after retirement.

What the f**k does the color of the bodyguards matter? That is the most racist remark I have heard since Popkins stated "I will not let no white boy beat me" (which of course is exactly what happened)...
