So does this make Joe Calzaghe's win over Hopkins look even better?

And by fighting on the inside you mean right-hand, butt, clinch = perfect.
controlling where you want the fight to be held isn't conducive to winning? seems pretty important to me. when you say you can't hit anybody from there you mean calzaghe can't hit anyone from there. hopkins was doing fine. he could hit calzaghe from range or from the inside and he did both. calzaghe is a mid range fighter. why would you punish hopkins for negating calzaghe's work rate by having the fight where he wants it?

sure if you want to call it that. i know that hopkins got the better on the inside immensely. calzaghe is lucky cortez was the ref to break them up because at times hopkins was getting off and calzaghe just stood there confused waiting to be broken. even turned his back a couple times. very unprofessional.

not sure why you are crying foul when calzaghe clinched a ton himself because he's not an inside fighter and he also fouled a ton with low blows and punches to the back and back of the head etc...

I think hes average. I said Soapy would school him if he could hold it together physically for 12 rounds. I was not surprised at all.

Look... I'm from Wales and a massive Calzaghe fan.

I thought Calzaghe won the fight with Hopkins, close but he won. The win was a good win despite Hopkins' age, but Hopkins has prooved that he is far greater than Calzaghe and even Roy Jones now.

Hopkins is one of the greatest fighters of all time.

You know what? I'm giving up on this argument.

                      It's boring like the 'fight'.

I'm rolling on the metaphorical canvas holding my balls like a weary, cheating Hopkins.
