*Hopkins said the exact same speech word for word after the Calzaghe loss...look Hopkins lost that fight and cant accept he beat him

G DOGS FINAL THOUGHTS : I thought it was a close fight. I scored it 114-112. I gave the last round to the Champ. The first two rounds were 10-8 for Pascal. And won at least 2 other rounds in the middle. The only reason people calling FOUL is becoz its B HOP and hes more popular than Jean Pascal. Thats all it is. I see it for what it is. You guys say im biased becoz im canadian but you guys are being biased becoz your american plain and simple.

If Hopkins knocked down pascal with those shots in the early i doubt ya'll would be like OH IT SHOULD COUNT BECOZ IT WAS CLOSE TO THE BACK OF HIS HEAD.....ect.....get fkn real

I had it 114-112 but a draw isnt the worst decision ive ever seen.

    VIVA DE CANADA!

    9. Pascal 10-9
    10. Hopkins 10-9
    11. Hopkins 10-9

Before this fight i wanted Pascal to win, Hoped Bhop loses but Hopkins won that fight, even with the 2 official KD he won.

It will happen....Bute's management is just milking the free money before Bute starts taking on risks. At some point his own fans will demand it. Until that point a good manager won't make it happen.

Corruption in what way?? I don't understand what the forum uproar is all about. I can understand if Pascal was given the decision, but to say it was a robbery based on a draw is nonsense.

you could almost justify a draw.....though Pascal wasn't active enough IMO. Some of the rds he barely threw a punch, he just stared at Bernard.

To Hitman....if Bute fights Jean i would bet on Bute getting the KO in under 10.

Don't get me wrong. I had Bernard winning most of the rounds, but those two knockdowns early in the fight were critical for Pascal. Along with technical issues, Pascal also needs to work on his stamina. It seems like he starts to fade by the 6th or 7th round. It was astounding how the 45 year old OUTWORKED AND OUT-PUNCHED the younger fighter. Either B-Hop is that good or Pascal's gas tank is that bad.

If that's the best Canada has to offer in terms of a "champion".....Canada be in serious trouble....cuz Pascal who is presumably in his prime.....let an old man out work his ass...and decision aside......Bernard Hopkins in nearly 46 years old.

Sorry.....but you not allowed to do what Hopkins did last night at that age.....not in a boxing ring against a younger in his "prime" fighter. lol But he did do it....cuz we all watched it.

Win, lose or draw....Benard Hopkins always seems to expose the other guys flaws. He exposed Taylor even in defeat as a guy vulnerable in the late rounds. He exposed Kelly Pavlik in victory....and tonight he exposed Pascal as a guy whose ticker has to be questioned based on his "performance" which was about as inspiring as watching grass grow.

And lets not forget......Hopkins didn't lose this fight. It was declared a draw.

The fact we're even debating the outcome of the decision proves that Father Time must of missed BHOP's address when he took his latest census.

Body language is a *****....it speaks volumes.

Look at the end of that fight....and tell me Pascal thought he'd won it. If he believed his own bull**** and thought either knock down was legit...why didn't he jump all over the old man.

Why did he look tired, dazed and confused for the last two thirds of the fight?

This clown says Hopkins isn't really a good fighter...he's just ackward. LMAO.
Pascal couldn't hold Hopkins joke strap in his prime.....funny thing is....I don't think he could hold it now. And deep down..he knows it too.

Sure the fight was "close" in terms of scoring if you factor in the two "knock downs"......but Pascal didn't have the courage to follow up.....and basically got schooled....and out worked by an old man.

And in the end....didn't even get the win.....got a lucky DRAW.

Kudos to Hopkins....never my favorite fighter....but the fact this man can still compete at this level.....at his age.....is beyond remarkable.

Look at all the dudes he's fought....where are they now?

Hopkins continues to defeat the one opponent that should have ko'd his ass long ago.....Father Time. Remarkable athlete....and I doubt we'll see too many post 40 fighters like him again.

I was watching the fight with two of my non-boxing friends who were talking crap and didn't let me concentrate on the fight, just clowning around asking non-related boxing questions. So I have to see the fight again. I just remember having the fight clearly for Hopkins, give or take a round and even my casual boxing fan friends both had Hopkins being the clear winner. One of them was actually rooting for Pascal and admitted Hopkins won the fight clearly. I predicted Pascal will win and admitted Hopkins should have won.
