    It's Shane.

If it's Berto then I applaud him, as long as it's @ 147 and not some bull**** catchweight

Moving the date to May 7 (Mexican independence) really means something unless Mosley and Berto wear sombreros. Plus, Arum going back to the drawing board has sumthing to do with Marquez's asking price.

        or....

Pinochio Arum is just f**king with the boxing world like he usually does....
good point, i forgot all about that. It could be jmm, but i think arum is just fuccking with us and its mosley. Mosley made it so clear on his twitter page before that he was fighting pac unless he was just talking outta his a$$.

i hope he has chosen berto at 147 or jmm at 140. i still feel he should take the ultimate challenge of fighting martinez at 154. the risk is certainly worth the reward, legacy/career wise, its the only fight that if he were to lose it wouldn't really tarnish him considering the size difference and the fact that sergio is a jmw champ and the middleweight champ, who has just come off the most impressive win of the year. at this point if manny beat mosley or marquez it dont do much because mosley and marquez have both been beaten by mayweather. if he beats martinez it solidifies him as a top 5 greatest of all time, in my opinion.

why berto, i agree if its just for the title, but berto has done nothing, he has some good tools, but he barely beat (could have went either way) collazo. a fighter that mosley easily beat. I know that don't mean ****, and yea mosley got dominated by mayweather but so would berto, only difference is that mosley has actually won some meaningful fights. bottom line, right now unless he moves up there really aren't that many meaningful fights out there for him, maybe once bradley/alexander winner fights khan, then that winner would be a good opponent.

It'll be Mosley. I have a hard time seeing a 3rd fight being made with JMM, considering Arum's relationship with GBP. Also, Arum wasn't willing to co-promote with DiBella for Cotto-Martinez, so I think that means a fight with Berto isn't going to happen.

Just curious, but why are so many people in thread confident that it's going to Berto?

He chose Marquez! Back to the drawing board for Arum, to settle some economic issues with the overpricing of JMM/GBP.
I do hope they'll fight at 144lbs (Pac's Natural weight).
Being Top Dog, you can always have the final say in everything.
Bob Arum will insist on the Mosley fight if JMM/GBP won't give in
