Explain why the IBO is a joke please?

They are the only organization that rates all fighters at any given weight and they do it in a computerized fashion that removes a great deal of the human bias that ruins the rankings of the 4 major bodies.

No, the IBO isn't as significant, but there is nothing about the way they crown their champions and conduct their business that makes them a joke.

When was the last time the IBO stripped someone, invented a "super title", or a "silver title"?

whats so terrible about the ibo? they have the two highest ranked contenders fight for their belt and anyone that wins it has to defend against top opposition for the sake of being stripped. no sanctioning fees, computerized rankings...u name it

the WBC is a joke with their silver/diamond belt and now the corruptness of the WBA and their 3-4 champs per divisions are right up there. the IBF hardly ever care for unifications either

The IBO is a joke. They hand out their "titles" to journeyman level fighters. Their Middleweight champion is Peter Manfredo, their Welterweight champion is Lovemore Ndou. The list goes on. The only two champions they have that are right are Wladimir Klitschko and Jean Pascal. I would say that the WBA has passed the IBO as the worst orginzation but I have never considered the IBO as legitimate anyways.

I hate to say admit it but I agree with Hitman. Panda raises good points too.

The IBO are legitimate and are not corrupt.

They've had legit champs over the last few years including Pacquiao, Hatton, Wlad and Pascal.

I think they are under-rated and should be considered as equals to the other 4 organisations.

I knew that if Ring was on the list that everybody would vote for it. The purpose of this thread/pole is to determine what organisation is the best out of the above 5.

It's obvious that the Ring title/lineal title is the only title that matters in each division. But which organisation out of the others is what I'm trying to determine.
