The two men in the ring know who got the best of the other. I give Lebedev a lot of credit for taking it in stride.

In fact he just filled out his scorecard. 115-113 for Pascal, now he is gonna go relax and have a few drinks before the fight.

it reminds me of the Karmazin-Sylvester fight where I had Karmazin winning by 8 rounds, now I had Lebedev winning by 8 rounds.
while both 'real' winners didnt dominate the fights, they clearly won, but got jobbed.
when you go to another country (and its not just in Germany the case) you should better KTFO the homeboy. I actually thought Lebedev would do that, but instead Huck was the one who hurt Lebedev in the 3rd and cut him clean with a punch in the 9th, and went the distance. (I even gave Huck the 12th round)
well, after Abraham lost they pulled all strings not to lose another protagonistLast edited by cleaner147; 12-18-2010, 09:12 PM.

I thought Lebedev won the fight 116-112.
Having said that, it could have been a bit closer, and I would have been happy with a draw. I dont believe that Huck won the fight though. I do feel a draw would have been fair.
You know what tho?
Denis Lebedev did not dominate. N the truth is he needed to dominate the rounds or score a KO.
This fight was somewhat competitive, and Huck did some good things too.
Lebedev needed to do a bit more than just win the fight. He didnt put in that extra factor. He should have been aware of this coming to Germany.
Bad decision... Yes.
Robbery... No. (Kotelnik/Alexander, and Karass/Jones were worse robberies this year IMO)

Concerning Huck vs Lebedev: I guess that Sauerland's Super Six tourney in cruiserweight would end up in dustbin if Huck lost yesterday. And, yeah, having Geale as Sylvester's mandatory, he simply couldn't afford another loss of his money cow.
