Pac is far from the only one that failed at the shuffle. I remember tito trying it against hopkins then getting blasted by a punch. Everyone wants to imtimidate ali.

I'll tell you one thing though, sugary ray leonard did the ali shuffle better than ali IMO. Of course ray is smaller and faster, but sugar ray really could shuffle. He destroyed mayweather SR with it. Landed like 15 punches in 2 seconds.

RJJ tryied to shuffle but it was more of a prance dance weird thing, it was ugly.

The shuffle isn't useless if you can use it correctly. You need blistering speed and footwork. Its a flury of punches that follows it and can seriously hurt your opponents.

Go ahead and try it, you'll fail. I got fast footwork so I picked it up quick.
