however, if Maidana gets his rematch with Ortiz, rapes him again and goes on a lil streak it will be huge IMO

Agree about the Maidana rematch. I watched that fight yet again the other day trying not to pay too much attention to the biased/clueless British commentators and I somehow managed to have Maidana winning the fight by 1 point. Don't ask me how.

Rounds 3 and 11 were close.

Rounds 10 and 11 were Maidanas.

I am pretty sure Khan won. I think I watched it trying to work out how the judges seen it so close and ended up being too generous to Maidana. It was a very close, tough fight though. Hard rounds to score.

ive watched the figth 3 times now. all 3 times i thought khan won but it wasnt convincing but he did take it but a few rounds. the judges were spot on

The maidana fight is just not a big fight, no matter how much some of you guys try and fool yourselves. It was a great performance and fight, and real treat for hardcore fans and fans of both fighters. But there was just over 4,000 people in attendance, over 3,000 of which were probably khan fans from LA and the UK. Maidana is not a draw, he doesn't generate money, khan isn't mandated to fight him any time soon, he has just clearly beaten him. There are loads of other exciting fights out there for both guys.

Could it happen in the future yes...but im telling you the only way is if khan loses within the next year, or maidana moves up to 147 when khan does and wins a belt up there, and only in the UK, Maidana just doesn't bring anything to the table to warrant neutral ground especially considering khan has beaten him. The thing people don't seem to understand is that khan can make easy pay days in the UK a guy like maidana is worth the same as any other guy in the top 10...all those guys are worth the same in a UK based fight. Its the fights in the US he has to choose carefully, it has to be a fighter with a name and a big fan base, against bradley or alexander...they have a fan base, not a huge one but enough where both guys can combine to make a good gate and do good viewing numbers, the type that kind of fight deserves.
