  • I had the fight 118-112 Lebedev.

At most it should have been a draw. I can see an argument being made for the close rounds, but even then Denis was dictating the pace.

But I guess this isn't as bad as some other decisions we've seen lately. Huck was the champion and fighting at home. The latter should never guarantee you a victory like it unfortunately does nowadays, but Lebedev should have done more to take the title.

The judges aren't even paid off, they just know that Sauerland runs the show in continental Europe and if they want to get more fights they better not judge against their boxers. Just looking out for their own jobs.

    • Another bizzarre score by the judges. The boxing fans coul score a fight better than these cats.

        That's very silly.

Some of the early rounds were close but how exactly did Huck win rounds 7, 8, or 9? Those rounds weren't even remotely close to me, and I always keep track in my head which rounds could easily go either way.

Is anyone here actually a qualified boxing referee??

If you are willing to get paid to be a tool you are no better than the person paying you.

              • If Huck is standing up in Germany, he is winning

That was an easy win for Denis

He was controlling the pace for 2/3 of the fight and easily won the 12th

My stream was pretty choppy, but it seems like Huck closed out 10, 11, 12.

The first few rounds could've gone either way, and Lebedev seemed to have controlled the mid rounds.

All in all, the fight was close, Huck was at home and he was the champ. Lebedev didn't do enough to convincingly take his title.

Much to the chagrin of all the whiny Russians in here.

I thought it was a draw, but Huck winning isn't a robbery.

Yes - and my minimum bribe level is one small turnip.

                    @****Gore

You must have watched a lousy stream then.

All this just reminds me off football fans talkign about referee's when they don't even know the rules and judge somone who has made a profession out of it, of course mistakes are made but that was a pretty close fairly dull fight....
