Anyone concerned about the judges tonight?

This is a little off topic, but the thing that really turned me against Hopkins was him fighting Roy Jones after Roy had been flattened by Danny Green. I couldn't defend that at all man. But he's gained a lot of my respect back by fighting Pascal, and doing it in his home country when we all know Canada is known for corrupt judges. Hopkins probably has turned a lot of the networks against him because of that shit fight with Roy, so maybe he is forced to do it up to an extent. But not fighting outside of America except for a couple fights is something Hopkins always got criticized for. And anybody who doesn't give him credit for doing so tonight is an idiot. Dawson deserved the credit too even though he fought like a wimp for most of the fight against Pascal.Comment

Pascal vs Dawson had fair judging. Don't even lie. Look at the scorecards for yourself:
judge: Jack Woodburn 108-101
judge: John Keane 106-103
judge: Gerald Ritter 106-103
Those scores were pretty much how everyone saw it.Comment

Why do there have to be judges with Frenchman like names for the Hopkins fight though? It makes people including me smell fix from a mile away.Comment

Jack Woodburn scored the final round of the fight, where Dawson was beating Pascal all over the ring, for Pascal.
There is always at least one judge cheating on Pascal and Bute cards.
The ref was also in a huge hurry to have the fight stopped knowing Pascal has ahead on the cards and hurt. He could have let Dawson finish the round but didnt want to give him a chance.Comment

Let's just hope the judges weren't in Switzerland judging that Holyfield/Valuev fight- that was robbery of the year!Comment
