Phantom foul dive
Pascal by DQ
I like this prediction since it's so hard to predict the outcome of this fight.
Here is why I make this unusual prediction : Hopkins has been acting a lot in his most recent fights. I don't think he can get away with it in Canada.
At some point when his 45 years old legs will start giving up on himself, Hopkins will be looking to take a phantom foul dive. Liston had his phantom punch, Hopkins have his phantom fouls.
Anyway, maybe it won't even be that much of a phantom as Pascal has a slight tendency to throw looping right hands that can catch you a bit behind the head.
So when Hopkins realizes his acting isn't working and that he is being administered a count, he will have to get back up right away without having the time to recover. If he doesn't get back up on his own, he will lose by KO, much like how Cintron should have lost to Martinez. But the likely scenario says he will get up not to get counted out as the ref doesn't buy his BS. Then Pascal will jump in for the kill. Hopkins will become extra dirty so that he can survive, which will lead the ref to disqualifying the old man.
That's a pretty complicated prediction isn't it ?
So Pascal wins by way of DQ around the tenth round (between 8 and 11), or let's say the tenth.Comment
