To be fair, I guess his biggest exposure was the RJJ fight, where anyone would have looked **** that night. And, Woods HAS got a lot better...

I hear ya, it just seems he gets forgotten about even by some Brits when it comes to British fighters and the guy does have the IBF belt not some bull**** title so all I would say to people who haven't seen much of Woods is judging him by his performance against one of the best fighters of our generation in Roy Jones is a bit unfair, he could make anybody look ordinary.

        hmm

Woods really is probably not much better since he fought Roy. It's just apparent that he has been underrated. People tend to dismiss guys who don't have much exposure as "bums" or "without skill", which is ridiculous. Hoye never had a chance against Woods. Hoye got a gift vs a shot Montell Griffin. No way would he beat a prime Woods. Fact is, Woods has been in with the best at lightheavy, and has proved he is top 5-10 in that class. He will beat the aging Julio. Woods nutrition also gives him an extra edge to offset his own aging at this point.

Anyway, who is this guy Woods is fighting? I don't know him, but I'll take the bet on the presumption that Godz thinks he's betting against the Clinton Woods who got beat in a one-sided match-up with Roy Jones three or four years ago. The boy has got better since then (takes nutrients for an iron deficiency now, too) and I reckon he won't give up his belt on one go.
sorry for expression my opinion anorak.......

gonzalez is an awkward fighter and brings a bit to the table.....i'm still not convinced on woods...

so if the officiating is fair, i pick a decision (close) by gonzalez..

I got Julio winning this fight, just my opinion, I'm not going to state why or anything, that's just who I think will come out victorious that night.

                      I pick Gonzales to win.
Griffin deserves a rematch with Gonzales for the head butt
