Do you think marquez has the chin the outlast pac for a 3rd fight?

at 140 or 147 there is no way JMM's dropping pacquiao. i honestly don't see how competitive this fight will be considering we've seen both styles and how both fights played out and the way JMM handled pacquiao. Marquez does not make pacquiao miss, nor he is a slick counterpuncher. This dude has always traded and enganged pac head on which is why a lot of people assume he got the better of pac. No other opponent has traded and lasted for an entire 12 round and that's what JMM has done.

if a third fight happens, JMM will do what he's exactly done in the previous fights and that is to welcome pac's flurries. i don't think he has the chin for a heavier pac now and he might actually just end up getting KFTO cold for good.

styles make fights and marquez right now even at 147 will make pac look awkward. pac will once again win a close and hotly debated sd. this fight will pick up where 08 left off.

Marquez has very few flaws, however his biggest one is the fact that chooses to attack when he shouldn't. If Marquez was strictly counter punching and not trying to put on a war for the fans, he could win no problem.

The only reason Marquez stayed competitive in those two fights was because he actually went toe to toe with Pacquiao. And the only reason why he lost those two fights was because he got knocked on his ass. Marquez is a brilliant fighter and he has even stated that to beat Pacquiao, you have to trade with him. If he sits back to counter punch, with Pacquiao's speed and volume of punches, he'll lose and look ****** doing it.

katsidis got to him at 135. Pac-q would beat him at 140 and 147. Even at 135 pac would still be favorite.

Marquez is a brilliant, tough as nails fighter, no question.

His problem though is he has not shown any improvement whatsoever in his last few fights, whereas Pac has upped his game significantly by adding more weapons to his already significant arsenal.

I have no doubt in my mind that Marquez WOULD give Pac problems in the first few rounds, but lets all be honest here. Pac is the huge favorite should they fight, even at 140, and Marquez, at best, has a puncher's chance against him.

Probably the only reason i and most likely a few others would want to see this fight is to get some sort of closure between two great fighters.

forget about lightweight....Manny's never going there again.

at JWW, Marquez is out of his league. At WW, JMM has no chance and gets his ass soundly beaten. I don't idolize Manny in any way...I simply recognize that he's the top fighter in the world..regardless of the opponents they throw at him.

Floyd is his only competition based on style and skill level, and yes, Floyd would be the slight favorite in a head-to-head match. JMM simply doesn't belong at WW and will not be a competitive fight whatsoever. Floyd went 12 rounds toying around with Marquez....Manny would end it in 7 or 8.
