But Bernard just did not look healthy to me.

He looked very skinny, no muscle at all which is unusual for him. Seemed very dehydrated around his cheeks and face.

I noticed that too but I haven't really paid much attention to him this past year.

You must also take into account that Bernard is a master of head games. This is not the first time he's done this before.
