      Fail.

Clottey was a top 5 contender in the Walterweigh division by the time Pac fought him, Cotto was rated as either number 1 or number 2 by the the time he fought Pac in walterweight and margo was 17 pounds bigger than him.

Dude, that's cherry picking? Who do you suppose he fights then? Berto? He couldn't beat those names above, bradley? a no name?

      Fark off.

All of you defending Manny in this thread are dumb as hell! Pacquiao has masterfully cherry picked all of his recent fights, anybody who isn't *******ed can see that. For you idiots that say Cotto and Clottey were top ranked WW isn't Berto a top ranked WW, yet Berto is a bum? Manny continues to fight slow, immobile fighters that have zero defense. It's always an excuse with *******s, he's not a big enough name, JMM is pricing himself out Pac beat him twice. LMAO! Then your ****** asses think I'm hating on Pac for telling the truth. Please, I have no reason to hate on Pac I see right through his smoke and mirrors. You people will defend him to no end, that's why your *******ed. I truly feel sorry for you guys, you're pathetic.

I don't care if he stays active or not, I'm not wasting 65$ to watch him beat up old beaten and often times weight drained men tailor made for his style. It's a double standard. "Oh Berto's fighting bums!" Manny is fighting senior citizens.
              You mean top 20?

Well all top 20 P4P fighters are not welterweight fighters. They might not be top P4P but they they are top 10 ranked fighters in their division, except for the Margarito fight.

As far as Berto comparing to Pac, Andre needs to proove himself by fighting more experience top fighters. Pac has been fighting for awhile now and maybe earn to choose his opponents.

If you look at Cotto, came back to dominate Jennings and a closed win over Clottey. Clottey is a fighter that gives fighters trouble, making them look bad. Like Zahir Raheem on Morales and Acelino Freitas. Clottey did well against Margarito before he suffered an injury(according to him).

Its a no win situation for Pac. If he face JMM and beats him, Juan is too old or the 140-147 division is to high for him. If he beats Berto, his to inexperience. If he beats Bradley, it will be he has a good resume at jr. ww but he hasn't beat an elite yet and he is inexperience at ww and fought a nobody in his only 1 ww fight. If he beats Martinez, well he is 36 years old, out of prime, and no more left in the tank.

Basically that IF Pac beats at least 2 of the opponents i mentioned, it will be the same thing again, cherry picking.

As far as the thread goes, it was started by a hater.

Hahaha! A no win situation? The guy can go in and beat Michael Jennings and be considered the greatest of all time! Greater than Roberto Duran! Lmao. If he beats Marquez, credit to him. If he beat him at 140, ALL The credit in the world to him because he beat a fighter who is suppose to give him problems. If he fight Martinez, Roach already said it'd be at 147. Lmao. They'll try to DRAIN Sergio.

Also, I find it hilarious because no one is discrediting Pacquiao besides the hardcore boxing fans. Instead, 90% of casual fans discredit Floyd, Including you. Then when Pacquiao fights the same guy(when he's coming off horrible performances), "Oh he's greater than Roberto Duran! He beat him way better than Floyd! He's better than Floyd!" Stop this nonsense. Saying he doesn't get credit is nonsense and you know it.

Come on man, are you serious? You are exactly what I'm talking about. How exactly am I a hater? All I want is to see pacquiao prove that he's as great as people say he is. Why can't pacquiao simply fight somebody who's looked good in their recent fights? Why can't he fight somebody that presents stylistic match up problems for him, like a marquez? Is this asking too much of the atg fighter of the decade? If manny beat a martinez, marquez at descent weight, bradley, berto, etc. I would be on here singing his praises, dude gets way too much credit for his recent fights.

Did you seriously just compare Pacquaio's level of opposition/resume to Berto's? Are you ****ing kidding me? Have you watched boxing only since 2009 or something? Wow the ******ity on this board never ceases to amaze.

You're ****** as **** too if you think he needs to fight Martinez to get respect. He came up from 122 lbs to just beat the **** out of a guy who Mayweather dodged like the plague and walks around at 170. Martinez not only walks around at 170 but has legit P4P skills extending to probably even 168...more than 3 weight classes higher than Manny.

Pac deserves flack if he signs to fight Mosley. But if Shane Mosley is his 'soft touch' at 147...then whatever I guess. Wait til his next fight after that to give him ****. Asking for Martinez is ****ing ****** and so are you if you think he should have to fight him.
