Is Sergio Martinez too small for Super middleweight?

Do you think he could be competitive up with the top guys in the division?

Sergio is a small MW anyway. Hopkins was too and Golovkin either.

I guess the time of natural big middleweights is over.

He just went up to 160 for the first Williams fight. 168 is too high. He isn't some 22 year old that can just bulk up and carry the weight easily.

No, he's only 1" shorter than Pascal whos 175 champ.

his style isnt based on size that much anyway and he beat pavlik, whos bigger than most smw's

I say give him three more fights, but he probably won't be around for too long.

              no..

martinez is in his mid thirties and is nowhere near as big as pavlik, pirog or even miranda and jermain taylor

he can stay at middleweight and be effective with his exciting unpredictable way of fighting...if he were to fight bute the way he does he'd be more concerned with getting hit

remember...martinez started his career as a welterweight and he began his pro career relatively late
