Hopkins probably should have won. I had it scored as the first judge. If Hopkins could fight this way against Pascal why could he not do it against Roy? He is probably still scared of Roy somewhere deep in his mind.

Yeah i guess. What he did was impressive considering the first three rounds.

Maybe not fear, but I think a deep respect that he maybe he didn't want to overly embarrass Roy.

I don't know, but it does merit discussion though. Perhaps he didn't train hard enough for the Roy fight

I dont know, but Ive always hated Hopkins and I thought he fought like a tough bastard tonight. When Pascal started catching him clean early I thought Hopkins was done, but like I said hes a tough son of a bitch.

Don't want to sound a ****** or anything but I have to say it.... I TOLD YOU SO. I knew Pascal was going to sat down in his desk chair whilst Hopkins was teaching him how things are done in the later rounds. It was a boxing clinic on the old mans behalf despite the result!

What is wrong with Pascal? When the primetime commentator started saying "oh pascal is taking one round off" "oh pascal is taking two, no three rounds off" i was asking myself how that ****** motherfücker got that job. Pascal was doing his usual passive wait for nothing thing he did against Dawson. When is he gonna stop doing that? Is it a mental problem?

Hopkins tends to fight to the level of his competition. There was some hype around the rematch and when Roy lost to Green it kind of let the wind out of the sails and whatever luster it had left was lost. I think it transferred over to Hopkins that night.

Its a stamina problem for all the running he does in the ring.
