The funniest thing about that ref helping Hernandez up is that the fight should have been stopped right there. That ref ultimately ended up letting Hernandez take 4 or 5 more bombs that were completely unnecessary.
It's funny to look at it and laugh now but Hernandez could have been seriously hurt as a result of a ref who was trying to cheat to keep him in a fight.Comment

Well Huck has been very dirty in the past, but he has been able to control himself somewhat better after the Cunningham defeat. Of course if he gets pressured tomorrow, which I'm sure he will be, it'll be very interesting to see how he responds.Huck is in tough so that means you can expect him to fight dirty as hell, rabbit punching 10x a round, holding and hitting like Lennox Lewis, low blows.... everything.
Of course he will get away with it in Germany.
That's the only reason I hesitate to pick Lebedev in this one. You can never count on a fair fight in Germany.
In particular I'll be interested in seeing how coach Ulli Wegner reacts if Huck should fall behind.
Should be a great fight and potentially a FOTY candidate if not for skill, then for drama and grit.Comment

Wegner will insult Huck, insult his family, and probably tell him to punch Lebedev in the ****.Comment

I saw it live as well. I couldn't believe it. It was a great fight though.

I dont remember hearing Wegner tell his fighters to get dirty, but the insulting is correct. Hell that insulting has earned him some 10 coach of the year awards in Germany....Comment
