Were you disappointed with Khan's performance against Maidana?.

Is it only me that is disappointed with his performance against Maidana.For me he look crude and need to improve on the following:

His Footwork need to be worked on.you will find that they do not go with the rythm of his shuffle. And when he does the leap punch they get tangled up.

His neck muscles need to get some strengthening.When he get tagged you will notice he wobbles right away.

His speed is not up to par with the one he showed against Salita.Yes he showed some speed but they're mostly slaps.nothing behind it.

Not so much as I was impressed by Maidana's performance. Khan fought much more a brawl than he should have to prove a point, I believe.

Khan has already become one of the best offensive fighters in the game (Roach is an offensive genius)... The only thing that needs working on is his defense which isn't particularly great.

I thought his footwork was excellent along with his power and punch variety. Obviously his chin is crap and he had to run for 3 rounds but that can't really be developed.

I think it was Maidana that made Khan look ordinary,Khan did what he was supposed to do early,Maidana is just a really good slugger who caught up to him!!

I thought I saw the same Maidana as always he's been at his best. It's just that Khan was the better fighter that fight.

That was people like Wazza who can't be objective for any sum of money in the world. I heard comments such as 'Khan will beat the **** out of Maidana and knock him out', which was obviously completely ridiculous to anyone who knew anything about Maidana.

It was a really good fight and Khan has come on a lot. I think in the rematch I'd favour Maidana though as he worked Khan out somewhat by the middle rounds and from then it was a matter of time before he landed a semi-good shot. Khan's chin is still terrible.

He was an offensive fighter before.nothing has changed in that criteria.

Watch it again and focus on his footwork.Then come back here.


Neck strengthening will help to keep you getting staggered every time you take a shot in the jaw junior.....
