A lackluster main event, but Juan Urango was spectacular, knocking his opponent down three times in a fight that was competitive for awhile - his game opponent had never been stopped until he got nailed with a vicious shot to the side of the jaw.
Jameel McCline KO'd Steve Pannell after knocking him around quite a bit - good dominating heavyweight show.
The cruiserweight title fight had a shocking finish - the IBF Champ O'Neil Bell was losing the fight, on the brink of getting himself DQ'd, when he ends the fight with a late knockout out of nowhere.
The sentiments on the board seemed to be "No more major fights til next weekend, but we'll laugh off this week's PPV and talk about Vitali and general boxing talk and ignore the show"...
this wasn't Barrera-Fana or Vanda-Campas. This one was worth every bit of the measly 30 bucks that you might have spent on a meal at a low-end sit-down restaurant instead of ordering the boxing show available.
Anyone who saw this card would likely agree - boxing fans would have enjoyed the Friday card. I just watched the tape since I was working the past two nights...
It's worth seeking out downloads of the Urango, McCline, and Bell fights...
