I think these fights will be very good. Donaire is appearing to be the real deal and I know Montiel will come to fight. If Donaire can KO Montiel and look good doing it, I think his career could really take off if Bob Arum wants it to....

Donaire is an excellent fighter and needs big fights to get to the mainstream. He has the potential but his fragil hands might not hold.

These guys are counterpunchers and it might not be as exciting as most would hope for

That's what I'm thinking as well. I think the moment Donaire tastes Montiel's power he is gonna be even more cautious, and add to the fact that Donaire is already good at the "keeping the opponent at a distant game". Nonito might just settle for simply holding off Montiel and even worse, throw less punches than he's already doing.

On the flipside. Montiel, has difficulty with movers, so, if Donaire decides to get on his bicycle like he did against Concepcion, we're looking at a snoozer, because Montiel, eventhough he is tenacious is still a counter-puncher at heart, he won't hunt down Nonito the way a real pressure fighter does.

I hope I'm wrong, I already have this marked on my calendar and Vegas here I come. Those tickets are a steal for a fight between two world-class boxers.

s h i t the prices are great $250 is cool in my book, its two days before my birthday. i was already planning on making it a vegas birthday, the fight will be a nice touch. i know both men will make it intresting at some point of the bout. good luck to both fernando and nonito
