        it did appear to me "fair but firm" was bias in favour to khan. i thought khan boxed beautifully for the first nine rounds. his mistake was head hunting and not going to the body. he did run shamelessly the last two rounds so much that lederman scored a 10/8 round for rene on amirs running and not fighting. either way khan faced a man i thought he wouldnt. and you have to give amir credit (like him or not) for calling out the best fighters. and going on record as wanting to face the best. you have to love that.

          Khan is definitely miles ahead OFFENSIVELY (he needs to learn how to utilize the JAB as both an offensive weapon and as a defensive weapon to keep opponents at bay) and CLINCHING at most opportune time so that he doesnt' get beat up like the latter rounds with Maidana.
