Well, its kind of true not sure if you're joking around because Khan was getting away with holding Maidanas head down constantly and all Cortez did was warn Khan alot but not deduct any points. And Cortez deducted an unwarranted point from Maidana when Cortez kept breaking Maidana and Khan up.

Cortez warned both, seperatedboth when both had their backs turned around, broke it up when khan held, gave a deduction for an elbow and didn't take any from khan holding or maidana rabbit punching.

The ref had minimal effect, khan stood there and let maidana uppercut him. Maidana was done and had many opportunities and hit khan a fair few times in the 10th.

Khan could have been dropped but would have got up. Heck 10th was 10-8 anyway.

That was the main problem in the fight, cortez being too involved, I gree with you, get steve smoger refferring the rematch, it wll be a different outcome

This thread is funny coming from a guy who said Maidana was a no talent hack leading up to the fight.
