    Fight Night Champion question...

Anyone know if the slow footwork has been fixed for this game? Or will it be the same unrealistic crap? Or what about the useless jab FNRD4 had? I hope they fix these things because in a real fight these two things are crucial.

God, the jab is so useless in FN4. That whole game sucks. It's all counter punching.

the speed and style looks nearly identical to fnr4 based on preview videos

i heard, major tweaks are being made with respect to counters though

well, according to the last video you can now add a modifier to a jab if you want to make it more powerful, so in theory you can have stronger and more effective jabs.

As for the footwork, there still has not been any video's released that clearly show if there is truly any improvement or not. I read a developer said the footwork is faster and more fluid, but again that is his words not actual evidence.

Also, as for clinching, I heard it's the same. I read that they were trying to make a much more advanced clinching scheme but couldn't successfully do it.

What they did do, though, is that you can now punch from the guard (think Winky jabbing, etc.), which is pretty cool.

Yup...even in round 3 you had the option to stick and move or fight. Round 4 is all inside fighting & counter punching. What happened to the whole "no 2 fights are ever the same" bull**** they blabbed about??
