What has Tim Bradley done which makes him anything special?

So Timothy Bradley, sneaks in through the backdoor of the 140lb division, and nabs the #1 spot, in the aftermath of Pac/Hatton.

He seems to claim the #1 spot, with a win over old, shot, never was Junior Witter!

Then he fights Edner Cherry, WOW

Then he fights Holt, almost gets killed, but somehow sc****s through to win a decision.

Next stop for Bradley, it's old nate campbell, coming up from 135lbs, bradley cant even beat him, headbutting it into a no contest instead.

Then we get lamont peterson, WOW

then its carlos abrubu, or someone, who is a welterweight no-ones ever heard of.

So please tell me, what has bradley done to get p4p status?

why do people care so much about p4p? its just a subjective list based on 1 persons opinion. with today's heavyweight scene being so weak and non-descript, the p4p thing isnt really even relevant at the moment. it was just something to give non-heavyweight fighters (sugar ray robinson) some spotlight in a time where heavyweight boxing dominated.

with that being said, bradley is a solid all-around fighter and the only thing he really lacks is punching power. i favor him over everyone else at 140.

            biased much?

bradley beat witter when he was wbc world champ and bradley was an unknown californian rookie coming up...bradley even took the fight on very short notice and knocked holt down in an akward fight

panda will give u edner cherry...that fight meant nothing but then again lil tim wasnt seasoned enough to be champ in the first place

bradley never got almost killed by holt...holt scored two knockdowns in the first and twelfth and proceeded to do jack **** for the rest of the fight ...

bradley beat campbell and by stoppage too...campbell's a little whining b1tch who never belonged at 140...a lot of people in nsb were picking campbell to beat the **** out of bradley too

peterson was the one that really catapulted bradley into #1 status...u see many people overlook the fact that had bradley not won a belt this early in his career he wouldve been where peterson was at the point of him fighting bradley. it was a good win...last saturdays fight proved peterson is no pushover

abregu was a fight with lil tim testing the waters at WW...it meant nothing to panda either

Bradley is a straight beast man. Dude wiped Holt out on the cards even with the 2 kds, he rocked Holt several times in that fight as well. Bradley was working Campbell over until the stoppage. He also put Peterson to shame and wiped him out on the cards as well. Moves up in weight and defeats an undefeated WW Abregu with an 80 percent KO ratio. Bradley is a freaking monster man....he has heart, pride, confidence, and respect. The desert Storm will take the world by storm in January too...ya'll just wait and see!!!!

that's not what i saw. up until the eyeball butt, i saw a very close fight, bradley might have been slightly ahead.

after the head butt is when bradley turned it on, but not before.

I like Bradley, but I don't see him as anything special. I'm not even sure why people think of him to be an opponent for Manny. He hasn't really beaten any top flight opposition. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against the fight, but I don't see why its one of those, "Manny must fight Tim Bradley to prove himself". Bradleys career is just beginning.
