Easy win for Hatton. Casamayor is on the decline and Hatton will be much too strong for him. Maybe he keeps him off for 3 or 4 rounds, then gets mauled. It's a good opponent for Hatton. The fight has good name recognition and will sell.

A fight against Floyd is what we need though. Anybody else for Hatton is just treading water.

After running away scared from Mayweather, I think that Hatton does need to save some face and take on a live opponent. I agree that a fight with Cassamayor would give Hatton another name fighter to put on his resume. It seems like Hattons options are fights with either Junior Witter or Carlos Maussa. From a business standpoint I feel that a fight with Cassamayor would be the smartest move for Hatton. Maussa is too green and it seems like Witter likes to ***** over dollars and cents, plus he’s a dangerous fighter right now. In a fight with Cassamayor, Hatton would be able to show off his boxing skills a little more than he did in the Tszyu fight and would be a definite favorite. I wouldn’t count out Cassamayor though if he’s on his game he could possibly beat Hatton in Manchester.

I'm a HUGE Casa fan, but HAtton would walk through him at this point. Hatton is a lot stronger than anyone that Joel has fought and Joel can't move around the ring like used to anymore. His footspeed and handspeed has diminished and his power wouldn't be enough to trouble Ricky.

But Hatton threw a shot to the back of Tszyu's head in the first, which was the first illegal blow.
