Of course he has to be punished if he lays hands on a person, but 6 months in prison? That's a bit over the top to me, 2 weeks community service or something like that seems more like it, even a month in jail, but 6?!

the 6 months is based on his prior rants, which includes 8 misdemeanor/felony charges...add them all up and i think 6months aint enough.
