How much money (approximately) do fighters make for their first professional fight?

I'd fight at the same place for my first 10 pro fights so people know me from previous fights and keep coming back

Gatti made 5000 when he signed and after his first fight.

I believe Amir Khan got between the region of £5000 - £10000 just recently for his first pro fight against David Bailey.

I also believe that he got £1000000 for signing with Frank Warren. So he is a millionaire already.

Highly depends on the person turning pro...On average it is 50-100 per round and a bonus for a KO.

I believe Sugar Ray Leonard made $40,000.00 for his first fight, his opponent made something like $700.00
