    Why doesn't Khan rematch Maidana?

Was the fight that wide that a rematch is unnecessary?

Marcos Maidana has been talking about wanting to take a tune up fight in Argentina and then chase another big fight in America. Amir Khan wants an English homecoming fight, probably against Zab Judah, then he wants to unify against the winner of Devon Alexander vs. Timothy Bradley before moving up to Welterweight. Neither side seems that interested.

I doubt Khan wants to step back into the ring with Maidana.

It's a case of job done, now turn around, run and never look back.

I'd rather see Khan move on and face Maidana about a year or two down the road if they both continue to win. I'd like to see Maidana move up to 147 with Khan and possibly face Pacquiao. Neither of them need this rematch right away. There's plenty of business to be done first.

Who says he wont? If anything Maidana looked less than keen for the rematch. I doubt they'll get back in immediately

Amir would whoop his ass even worse now.

You all are acting like the first 9 rounds didn't happen. Amir was only really hurt in round 10. Apart from that he was doing great. He came back very good in round 11 and finished strong in round 12.

This was a great learning experience from Amir. If he would have just stopped Maidana in round 1 or have dominated him the entire fight he wouldnt have learned half as much.

He beat him, it was close and a great fight but he clearly beat him... He should move on, fight the winner of Alexander-Bradley.

                  115-110

                  114-111 without the point deduction

Anyway, I would love to see a rematch because it was a great fight, but Khan is under obligation to do so. He won the fight clearly and deserves to move on to bigger and better things.

Good luck to Maidana though. But I bet he will be avoided from here on out. I don't think Bradley or Alexander want any of that.
