Dominican Francisco Lorenzo, who has a victory by disqualification over Humberto Soto and then battled with him for 12 rounds in the rematch, will try to upset Érik Morales this Saturday in Tijuana. Lorenzo replaces Argentinian Rodrigo "Hyena" Barrios who was unable to leave the country due to a pending legal case. The WBC silver junior welterweight title is being defended by Morales.
