He's pretty tough though, and is never easy for anyone.

Why doesnt Bute fight Pascal in a Canadian Megafight?

Bute is a Joke with a long list of Bums on his Record.

Bute has had the chance to fight Froch on more than one occation but would not take the fight. and dont blame Froch because we all know the Cobra will fight anyone anytime.

actually, froch turned down an ibf super middle eliminator vs. bute. the fight was to determine the mandatory contender for alejandro berrio. bute ended up fighting bika instead.

look at april 2007 ibf ratings on the ibf website. ratings were:

          CHAMPION : Alejandro Berrio Colombia

          Title won : Mandatory : Defended :

          WBA : Anthony Mundine Australia
          WBC : Mikkel Kessler Denmark
          WBO : Joe Calzaghe England

          1 NOT RATED
          2 NOT RATED
          3 Lucian Bute Canada
          4 Carl Froch
          5 Dennis Inkin Germany
          6 Jeff Lacy United States
          7 Robert Stieglitz Germany
          8 Jurgen Brahmer Germany
          9 David Gogiya Russian Federation
          10 Sakio Bika Australia
          11 Anthony Hanshaw United States
          12 Sergey Tatevosyan Russian Federation
          13 Markus Beyer Germany
          14 Danillo Haussler Germany
          15 Yusuf Mack United States

The IBF ordered #3 Bute to fight #4 Froch, and Froch refused. Once Froch refused the IBF went right down the list. everyone from 4-9 refused, only Bika accepted the fight with Bute.

who did you want him to fight? nobody wants to fight him. besides pascal, nobody called him out. i'm not making excuses for him, but for showtime to accept magee i am sure the list was very short. and believe me, it was showtime that picked magee, not his promoter interbox. that company has zero influence in boxing.

is it true magee was invited into the super 6 but refused?

i'm thinking maybe magee accepted to replace taylor and/or kessler in super 6 but showtime went with allan green and glen johnson, so giving the bute fight to magee was some sort of payback to him from showtime?

i can't think of any other reason why showtime would go with magee.

                  the source...

they say he could POSSIBLY fight Brian Magee

I don't really know the guy, I think he's euro champ, I'll have to check him.

                  Is he any good ?
Tunney could send you clips of him or perhaps post a link when he fights.

                  Yet you criticise him.

Brian Magee beat up Mads Larsen, but you have probably been a fan for 6 months, so how the **** would you know?

From BBC: Brian Magee to get crack at IBF world title in March

Brian Magee is the European super-middleweight champion
Belfast boxer Brian Magee is set to challenge IBF super-middleweight champion Lucian Bute for his world title in Canada on 19 March.

Official confirmation of the contest is expected on Monday.

Magee had been expected to fight for the WBA version of the title in January after being named as a mandatory challenger to Dimitry Sartison.

In September, Magee made the first defence of his European title in Dublin by stopping Armenian Roman Aramian.

sartison refused to fight bute so interbox/showtime steal their WBA mandatory opponent? i'm just full of theories tonight lol
