ok, well i know it. i dont accept mediocrity in anything and i deem it that, fighting those sorts of fighters in the comfort of your home when you are in your prime. if you dont see it that way, fine, thats your right to.

if he is the star he is regarded as, the camel jockeys would pay the huge money they are regularly associated with when they want something badly enough, coupled with TV money he would be ok financially, and in my mind at least he will have moved a step forwards. he may have moved backwards earning wise, i'll grant that if he did fight away from his comfort zone, but sometimes you have to take 1 step backwards to take 2 forwards.
the big money fights will always be there if you deliver against tough competition.

Kessler has always been willing to travel probably to much for his own good and I reckon he'd have no problem fighting Bute in Montreal. Of course Kessler needs to be healthy first which doesn't seem terribly likely I'm afraid.

So far Bute has shown no signs whatsoever for wanting to fight the best as you claim.

He didn't want none of Kessler after Zuniga.

He didn't make a fight Froch before the supersix.

He didn't make a fight with Pascal.

These are facts that can only point towards Bute and his team feeling little confidence in his ability but instead feeling the need to milk an adoring french-canadian public.
