@eric & ben - I just watched the DeGale v. Smith fight. Wow. DeGale might be the best at 168 right now - and he has only fought 10 pro fights. Any gambler who stumbles upon this guy will make huge money betting on him as he rises to the top.
He has all the defensive shoulder movements Amir Khan lacks. He is extremely relaxed in the ring. His defense is such that he can back up against the ropes and still be in control. He seems ambidextrous. His approach is like Pirog's. Very high boxing IQ. Sees an opening, then backs off to set it up. I simply don't know how an opponent can prepare to fight him. No sparring partner -- short of Pirog -- will be able to duplicate his style. This guy has my attention.
