Roy has great insight on the fight game. He's been in the ring at a top level and knows what he's talking about.

Larry Merchant is shot to shit. He's old, bitter, and senile.

This way Roy can officially retire and have a nice paying desk job where he still gets to be around the sport, talk, and share his knowledge.

Hell keep the old man around, but please make Roy a full-timer. The only time I like Merchant is when I'm drunk because his monologues are funny (laugh-at not laugh-with).

I'm in the minority but I like Larry>Kellerman.

Roy is good, I think Tarver is better but he is showtime.

I think Kevin Kelly is also better but him and Sean O'Grady are really underrated as former fighters turn commentators.
