but the thing with that fight is it was in south africa.
Rahman was smart by showing up and starting his training a month in advance at the scheduled time of the fight (4am S.A. time)

Lewis on the other hand wasn't even serious about it, he was filming Ocean's 11 and didn't come to train until a week before the fight.

He Did however prepare for the 2nd fight and look what happened.

BTW.. won't VK have a guaranteed rematch pretty much??

i think rahman has pulled a sharmba mitcehll on a lot people.... he hasn't beaten a good opponent in over 3 years... he's lost to ruiz and OLDLYFIELD... so he's looked good beating 5 or 6 BUMS, doesn't mean he's not the same guy that lost to ruiz....

I agree with that. But Vit-Byrd and Rahman-Maskaev very good too.

I agree. It amazes me how the same people who are still reluctant to crown Vitali the heavyweight king think that the real king is Rahman.

Rhaman has done nothing to deserve a title shot. Vitali sould uunify the belts, fight Toney and then maybe Rhaman.

Williams did nothing to deserve a shot.
Rahman will actually battle VK,not just act like a punching bag.

Unless Don King dies, Rach, Byrd, or Ruiz will not be entering the ring with Vitali anytime soon. They will have to eventually, but King is going to delay it as long as possible.

                      Sad, but true.
