he's one of the most skilled fighters in this sport right now. He would **** most top 140, 147, and 154 fighters up. Mayweather's jab, timing, brains, and ring generalship are supreme to that of many boxers. Watching Mayweather in the ring is a spectacle because you are able to witness the sweet science at its best. With that said, I do think he is overrated. His last two fights haven't really told me that he is capable of facing Pacquiao. And to think that after the Mosley fight the HBO crew questioned whether Pac could even touch Floyd. Based on what? Him beating an old, inactive steroid user in Mosley? A guy who had not done anything in a WHOLE year. Mosley couldn't even solve Mayorga for god's sake. I think recent events have changed public perception though because now it's evidently clear that Floyd is more human then ever. I say this because people now see that he is afraid to face Pacquiao.
Floyd has absolutely NO boxing skills! It's all camera trickery!
The proof in the pudding is that when really faced with the bestestest challenge of his life in the honest congressman G.O.A.T he came up with lies after lies and used random OST voodoo tactics to try to weaken Manny!
Floyd is sooo scared of Manny that he would rather get himself incarcerated for LIFE!
Manny will fight all comers! They just need to be the biggest draw possible with the most fights and prove themselves over and over and over before they dare challenge the Pacman!
wow--people are actually agreeing with this nonsense?
If any fighter is overrated by the media, it's manny pacquiao and you all know it-
how can floyd be overrated when the guys he fought, manny fought them afterwards to get his number 1 p4p ranking?
didn't floyd and joe c have to both retire before manny secured his p4p number 1 spot--didn't people really believe marquez was the number 1 p4p fighter and majority believed he really beat pacquiao--just like many believed castillo beat floyd? Yet, floyd immediatley rematched him--i mean, it took manny 4 years to rematch jmm from their first fight-which was a draw--the 1 judge said he made a scoring era right and manny should have one the 1st fight--
yet many felt he lost the 2nd fight clearly but it was close-
when manny lost to moralles the first time--he should have asked for an immediate rematch-and pushed for it like a mother****er--yet, he waits until moralles loses to zahir raheem and doesn't fight raheem?
Now asked yourselves this--wasn' floyd bashed by the media for fighting judah after he lost to baldomir? Yet, manny gets a pass from majority of the media? Who's overrated here really by the media--if anything, the media's only graciousness of floyd is his skills--and that's it-lol--because you know why?
They don't have a choice but to call spade for spade about this kid--floyd's skillset are the most complete in boxing--and nobody comes close to him in this regard--maybe only calderon and marquez-and we all saw what he did to juan manuel-lol
didn't brian kenny go off on floyd, asking him why he would fight judah and not baldomir and why did floyd think he was the real champion at 140 lbs when clearly it was hatton, but failed to do his homework on ricky ducking floyd as well as his father, ray hatton telling uk articles that his son told him and he agreed with him that he was nowhere near ready to fight a floyd mayweather jr....especially after the gatti fight--the same with miguel cotto--ask bobby arum-he'll even tell you-lol
isn't brian kenny's show on espn--and nationally sindicated sports program, arguably the most popular in all of sports--isn't that media dip**** pac fans?lol
man, you people make it so easy for me to make you all look so foolish--pay attention folks--
look at floyd and manny's last 5 fights and then you'll have your answers about who's overrated--look at the condition of their circumstances leading up to their last 5 fights-look at their opponent choices--which weight they fought them at--their opponent's fights before fighting them---and when you do, you'll have the answer you're looking for---for those who objective fans anyway-lol--
the reason why people pick floyd to win his fights, is because they think with their brain, not their heart--remember this-
