What does Manny do or not do that stops one from becoming a 'fan' of the most gifted prize fighter in decades?

Do = *** all, his resume since Marquez II is a joke.

Not do = .....
1.) He will not fight a skilled boxer
2.) He will not fight a skilled counter-puncher
3.) He will not fight anybody who is in their prime
4.) He will not fight anybody who is on top of their game
5.) He will not fight anybody unless they are disadvantaged
6.) And at JMW, he will not fight a genuine JMW

How is is possible not to at least appreciate such talent?

Manny is a terrific fighter, but he has a manufactured resume. His P4P status is a joke, as-is his standing with knowledgable boxing fans.

No, he is not remarkably gifted. He is hardly a technical wizard at all. Manny has amazing speed, that's all, and he has only recently become a two-handed fighter. He has just been very carefully matched, that's all. The problem is this..... when the following two things happen at exactly the same time, something is wrong.....
* gaining 15lbs muscle in less than 18 months whilst ripping through three divisions
* Refusing random blood tests

Most experienced pundits are more than a little skeptical.

Sure. Mosely is a terrible and greedy slice of matchmaking and I am surprised that he would paticipate in such a farce.

But the man man loves to fight, is the finest natural boxer since Robinson and Leonard and is usually a man of honor who contributes greatly to society.

What most of you are failing to acknowledge is that "styles makes fight", so can anyone go back and look at all of Sergio's last 4 fights (especially the one with the late-great VIPER, may he rest in peace) and you will see that NO ONE looks good against Mora, no one! He's like the jr middleweight version of John Ruiz/Chris Byrd...no matter who they fought the opponent looked simply awful against them!!! And as far as Mosley's fight against Mayweather, just think about how easily FM controlled, and destroyed JMM (the same guy that gave Manny fits!!), but anyways my point on this statement is, there might be the fact that FLOYD is really that good, and made two P4P fighters look totally shot.

Don't be too quick to through Mosley in the dumpster with the rest of the Arum's/PAC TOP RANK body bags...ask Margarito what he thinks of Shane when he got KO'd by him in 7rds.

I have a lot of respect for Shane and he's a future HOFer but I'm a little worried what Pac's gonna do to him in this fight. Shane's already past his prime and showing signs of slurring in his speech pattern. What's gonna happen to him when those 6-punch combinations start landing on his head, round after round? It'll probably be worse than just a broken orbital bone.

Shane Mosley wont do anything against Pacman. He couldnt even finish Mayweather jr after he made him buckle. I still hope Shane beats Pacman.

Please don't tell me Shane just said his body sho....oh my god. Shane, just stop. Everytime you throw that looping body punch of yours, you ALWAYS get countered and easily too. Forrest did it, Winky did it multiple times, and so did Cotto.

Shane has a special gift, he has a thick coat pretty much. He can't get hurt easily. He should use that gift to his advantage and just slug it out with Manny, he has a much better chance doing that then trying to hurt Manny with body shots.
