Comments Thread For: Victor Ortiz: If Brandon Rios Wants To End His Career Early

During a recent interview with BoxingScene.com's Rick Reeno, junior welterweight contender Victor Ortiz discussed his ongoing feud with lightweight contender Brandon Rios and the rest of the Robert Garcia Boxing Academy, which is located in Oxnard, California. During a few recent BoxingScene interviews, Rios has blasted Ortiz on a personal level. The feud has several subplots, including the fact that Rios is handled by Ortiz's former promoter, Top Rank, and managed by Ortiz's ex-manager, Cameron Duncan. Rios is trained by Robert Garcia, who used to work with Ortiz.

Rios would beat Ortiz. If that fight ever happens I would take bets cuz I know dudes hate Rios cuz of his mouth. But, he has better intangibles as a fighter than Ortiz has and that would be enough to beat Ortiz.

Now thats a fight I'd like to see, if Ortiz can box and move the whole fight, he'd win, but Rios is a risky fighter. Definitely entertaining!

ortiz wants to be a carbon copy of oscar...... he was idolizing vargas but told him to slow down on his new boss....

ortiz was developed by Top Rank and just wen out crazy and sign with GB for money reasons... no shame on that.. but why you wanna act like everybody is picking on you cos you left them??? f u ck that!!!!!!!!!!!!

WARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR BRANDON!!! kick this heartless fighter ass once and for all.. and another thing....

when ortiz fought marcos.. they made a show of it.. with his story and all that ****ty american dream stuff bla bla... and what happened? he got blasted..... I havnt heard any **** from ortiz after that fight.. theres no more buzz for you... instead brandon has been appealing to the boxing fans more that victor..... hes the one with the momentum.. not ortiz.... I was one the ortiz biggest supporter but he just proved me wrong on the maidana fight..... im glad he did.. cos now him.. acting like a young oscar is pathetic...

por eso vargas le decia maricon a oscar...y no tuvo los cojones te meterle las manos until tito f**ed him...

Ortiz vs. Rios and Peterson vs. Maidana Staple center.

Great double header for HBO, too bad old man Arum would never let it happen.
