Prescott is a nobody, everybody knows the knockout was Khan's own fault (rushing in trying to KO a big puncher, walking onto the punches, fighting at a weight that he couldn't make without draining himself).

The time to avenge Prescott has passed. It should have happened in July this year, if you remember after beating Paulie GBP said they wanted Khan to get another fight under his belt before he faces Maidana in December because May to December is too long to be inactive and he couldn't fight during Ramadan or straight after. Khan v Paulie was Mid-May, and they talked about Khan fighting just 2 and half months later at the end of July. They should have made Khan v Prescott in Bolton or Manchester and got it out of the way. Right now it's a step back, there's more legit fights out there at 140 and 147.

If Khan wants Prescott he should fit 4 fights in this year and get Prescott out of the way in February then Judah in April then a test at Welterweight in July/August and then Bradley/Alexander in November or December.

That's never happening though. I don't even think Khan will fight 3 times this year as Schaefer suggests.

At least Frank Warren had Khan fighting every couple of months. He fought 5 times in 2008.

All Khan needs to do is tighten up some things , get his footwork down better , coordinated with his hands, and fight Mayweather if Mayweather can come up with some balls at the five and dime.

khan would own prescott. prescott beat a badly prepared, ****y khan who was weight drained and wide open.
khan would take prescott fights all day long if he could. mitchell schooled prescott and khan is a better boxer than mitchell. no way katsidis could do to khan what he did to mitchell...maidana is twice as powerful as katsidis and khan showed that he could out box and out fight maidana.

firstly he was fighting 5 times a year when they were NOT 12 round fights and not against world class opponents.......no way he can be ready to go again in 10 weeks...give the guy a break FFS.

he can fight in march and then in july but after that he has Ramadan and so he has to wait until nov/dec. march will be a stay busy fight against someone he can own in front of UK fans....prescott, judah..someone like that...July will be for the 140 crown ....december will be a marquis fight at welter...
