Picking Mosley as an opponent for Pacquiao could make for an entertaining fight cause Mosley just like Pacquiao come to fight..But It's SO obvious that the ONLY reason Mosley is the front runner to be Pacquiao's next opponent is because out of the other 2 names being mentioned(Marquez & Berto) Mosley is the ONLY 1 that would be fighting COMPLETELY under the Top Rank banner with NO OTHER COMPANY'S INVOLVED!!! That's why a fight against Mosley makes a lot more sense ECONOMICALLY to Senile GREEDY ASS Bob Arum...¿Remember (before the Pacquiao /Cotto fight)when Pacquiao's team told Mosley that if he wanted to fight Pacquiao he would have to come down to 142lbs? & Mosley accepted & Pacquiao's team STILL DIDN'T DO THE FIGHT AGAINST Mosley!! All because Mosley was fighting under the Golden Boy banner.. Now all of a sudden it's OK to fight Mosley..We should soon hear again the same BULL S H I T excuse that's gonna role out Senile Arum's mouth saying that the other 2 fighters OVERPRICED themselves!!! Arum already had said that Berto is gonna OVERPRICE himself, WITHOUT EVEN HEARING WHAT BERTO WANTS!! I just got my cable bill. I'm thinking the only reason I haven't cancelled it is because of the Tim Bradley vs Devon Alexander fight. From the sounds of things I'm not liking the way HBO is shaping up its 2011 year after that tho. With Martinez vs Zbik, Cotto vs bum, Manny vs Mosley, Khan vs Bradley possibly not happening, etc it sounds like another crappy year for boxing. These guys aren't changing the way they do business. There is no "war" with Top Rank because Bob Arum will die soon because he's as old as the sea. Same with Don King. GBP is the future....there's no way around it.

Top Rank will live on past arum. todd duboef is being trained to be arum's successor.

however duboef doesn't have arum's clout or charisma.

as long as TR keeps building it's stars from the bottom up, they will always beat any other promotional company.

GBP were pushing for JMM and when your not that guy but kinda with that same promo company that's a snuff in the face. Words from Schaefer like he turned his back on us sound like someone wanting to be a complete monopolist and bulleye to me. You can easily say the same the other way round as they didn't really do much for Mosely in terms of landing that fight.

And if they're bad relationship with Top Rank is what was also blocking it, then why on earth should a boxer not leave and just get it done amicably without GBP?

Completely understandable and it's pretty shabby GBP would behave in such a way once it's happened.

Mind you, you could say Arum is also being awkward and hoping guys go out on there own, but hey, whatever. I think the outcome is good for boxing, less people with 2 tricky promoters and more competition & fights being made.

to be fair to GBP, a co-pro between GBP and TR for a pac/mosley doesn't maximize profts for anyeone, so it's not doable. so mosley demanding that fight from schaefer doesn't make sense.

but pac/mosley with no GBP involvement maximizes profits for Arum, Pac, and Mosley. so mosley had to drop GBP to get the pac fight and make money regardless.

Mosley is a quitter and a soft patsy who gave up against Floyd jr and embarrassed himself and his legacy. Golden Boy was embarrassed over Mosley. I normally don't mind Schaefer and from what I've seen he can be more reserved than this. Shows that once there's no point him doing so i.e. he's already lost the guy and his cheque, he doesn't care quite so much.
