Comments Thread For: Khan: Maidana Couldn't Seriously Hurt Me With His Best

WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan is claiming that at no point in the fight did Marcos Maidana have him seriously hurt. There seemed to be several points in last Saturday's contest, especially in the ten round, where Khan appeared to be very hurt. Khan's trainer Freddie Roach has already gone on the record regarding Khan's difficulties in the tenth round. Roach had even thought about stopping the fight. He allowed it to continue after speaking with Khan during the one-minute rest period prior to the start of the eleventh.

Fight Maidana with Steve Smoger as ref. Yeah, he couldn't seriously hurt you thats why you ran and barely threw any punches for like 2-3 rounds after he seriously hurt you.

We all know Khan talks too much. He's just hyping himself up, all boxers do it.

He said it the post-fight presser that he was hurt and gave Maidana credit.

It's all part of his, and GBP's, plans to hype up a match between Khan and Mayweather.

joe cheatez saved you on 3 different ocasions.and if maidana could'nt hurt you with his best its because you were running like a biatch. maidana is slow and flat footed with poor movement. thats how you got away.if you ever step in the ring with mayweather YOUR CAREER IS OVER.

The real question we want to know is why he couldnt land the same body blow he did on Maidana in the first round and he had 11 rounds to do it. THat needs to be addressed by Roach.
